Mr. Rainbow is a character that is unlocked after the Frog. He can create a rainbow that kills all enemies visible, with the exception of lava balls in the level Lava Land. Its first upgrade costs two points and allows you to use two rainbows, while its final upgrade (costing three points) allows you to use three rainbows. His attack takes forever to reload, so you should only use it to destroy enemies that are in your way while getting to the next muffin.
